The area of the present tiger reserve has a glorious history. Mowgli, the wolf child was caught by Lieut Moor in the Jungles of Seoni in the year 1831 near the village Sant Vavadi, situated 10 kms away from Seoni.
Total Area of Pench Tiger Reserve 1179.632 Sq. km.
There are 6 zone gates in Pench tiger reserve. 3 core and 3 buffer zone gates.
Core Area is around 411.330Sq. km
Area of Indra Priyadarshini Pench National Park is around 292.857 Sq. km

🦁 Rules And Regulations

Always enter inside the Protected Area with valid permit and valid ID (Adhar card, Passport, Driving license, PAN Card, Voler ID any other ID issued by Central or State Govt. I Card issued by School/College).
It is compulsory to take authorised park guide with every tourist vehicle. Obey the park guide.
Please dont get down from the vehicle, until advised by the park guide.
To carry and use of Tobacco items, inflamable articles etc. is prohibited inside the Protected Area.
Use of and to carry alcohol, and entering in intoxicated condition is prohibited inside the Protected Area.
